FAQ

What are the technical means needed by the trainee to take the online courses?

The technical means that are necessary for the student is a simple connection to the internet, email contact, headphone-microphone and a web camera.

To whom are electronic courses addressed?

They are addressed to all professionals in health,in exercise and in nutrition. Also to all those who have a health problem related to the quality of their lifestyle and their diet.

Can I talk to other students?

The special web platform enables conversation with the other learners or through the forum or via the modern online course (live chat).

What happens if the student has any questions about the course?

The student can contact the professor to solve queries or use the forum or via the live session (videoconference).

How much is the total cost of the course?

The total cost of each course is 600 euros and includes:
  • Supply of educational material (book, bag, notes)
  • All shipping costs of training materials and certificates.
  • Exams for certification.
The seminars of nutrilab last 200 hours of learning for the period of six months.

If I want to stop the online courses, is tuition refunded?

As stated in the official on-line registration form, the fee is NOT refundable, except in the case of serious impediment for which Nutrilab is responsible.

Bardis Konstantinos, MSc. – PhD

Dr. Bardis Konstantinos was born in 1982 in Sparta, Laconia. Balkan gold medal in the sport of mountain biking. As a scholar of the General Secretaries of Sports,he has successfully completed the Graduate Studies Program at John Moores University in Liverpool, in England,which is the first university in order of evaluation in Ergophysiology. In 2013, he completed his PhD studies at the Department of Dietetics - Nutrition in Harokopio University specializing in sports nutrition with excellent grade. He also continued post PhD researches in America (University of Arkansas), in the department of Kinesiology and specifically in the Human Performance Lab in 2014. His professional career began in 2012 as Exercise Physiology - Nutritionist in the National Cycling Team of men. He also has publications in international journals in the field of sports nutrition and sports physiology as well as numerous presentations in international conferences.

Psara Glykeria, MSc. – PhD

The Clinical dietician-nutritionist Dr. Glykeria Psara is a graduate of the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition of Harokopio University and holds an MSc. in the field of "Fitness and Nutrition". Continuing her postgraduate studies in 2008 became a PhD in Applied Dietetics-Nutrition, specializing in childhood obesity. She has received awards for her successful performance in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels by the YEN and the Harokopou Foundation. Today, she is a Post-PhD Fellow at Harokopio University, with a scholarship from the State Scholarship Foundation.

As part of her further training, she has attended the courses for ''Preventive Medicine-Nutrition and Public Health'' and "Contribution of Nutrition in Health Promotion-Rating Nutritional Research" at the Department of Medicine at Harokopio University, the program of Basic Education in Cognitive Psychotherapy of EPIPSY and many other Greek and international conferences.

She has been a Research Fellow in the Laboratory of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics in Harokopio University since 2000, participating in many research programs. She has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the University of Harokopio since 2006.

Publications are included in her scientific activities in reputable international and Greek journals and participation in research communications and lectures at scientific conferences. Educational booklets and informative guides are included in her writing activity, her writing work "Social responsibility program: It is everyone's responsibility" of QualityNetFoundation, is internationally awarded with the "Innovation Award 2008". She has been writing articles in newspapers and magazines since 2004, and she also gives lectures in schools and parents' schools in order to promote health.

She has worked as Head of Nutrition at Multipurpose Center Weight Control, as Head of the program "Health Education" in GEITONAS Schools, Research Fellow at the Department of Development of Children '-Aglaia Kyriakou Hospital. Today, she is a partner in Standard Multimedical Preventive Medicine Center and Aging ORTHOVIOTIKI and Clinical Coordinator at HealthFaculty, BSc (Hons) Dietetics, AKMI Metropolitan College. She is a member of the Hellenic Association of Dieticians-Nutritionists, the Greek Atherosclerosis Society, the Greek Company Lipidiology and Atherosclerosis and Society Disease of Coeliac Disease.

Tirovolas Stephanos, MSc. – PhD
Stephen Tyrovolas was born in 1985 in Tripoli of Arcadia. He graduated from the 2nd High School in 2003. He studied at the Department of Dietetics - Nutrition in Harokopio University (2007) and did his postgraduate studies in Applied Nutrition and Dietetics, in the field of "diet and exercise", which is the corresponding PSP in Harokopio University (2009). In 2013 he completed his doctoral thesis in the field of nutrition and public health, entitled "Providing nutritional and other health services and cardiovascular risk markers in elderly living in insular Greece." For the preparation of his doctoral thesis, he got two scholarships from the Greek Atherosclerosis Society,the Education and the European Cultural Foundation.

He has worked as a research associate in the department of the Department of Dietetics - Nutrition in Harokopio University and expert scientific collaborator EL.I.KAR in the Health Education Programme which is implemented in schools throughout the country sponsored by the Ministry of Education. From 2011 to June 2013 he was in charge of arbitration HND program in Aegean Omiros College and he worked as a lab assistant in the food technology department at the TEI of Kalamata from autumn 2012 to June 2013.

Since July 2013, he has been working as a postdoctoral researcher in the research department of the Parc Sanitari de Sant Joan de Deu, in collaboration with the University of Barcelona, in the research of health services and public health of the elderly population. His research interests include nutrition and public health, epidemiology of diet and nutrition in old age. Till now he has co-authored 24 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 30 presentations in international and scientific conferences.
